PS4 – 1:42pm GMT: The publisher of Runescape, developer Mojang, is showing off a new game in development for the platform that looks like it will be called Runescape Classic.
The title, which will be released next year, will be a “completely new, brand new IP”, Mojang told Polygon.
It’ll be the first time that Runescape has been created specifically for a console, but Mojang has confirmed that the company plans to release new games on PC and PS4 as well as Xbox One.
“It’s a totally new IP, completely brand new,” Mojang said.
“It’s not just a runescape game, it’s an MMO game.
“We want to show how it feels to create a game like that.”””
We’re very excited to share this with the world and we hope that it inspires other developers to create great IPs for their platforms,” he added. “

“I think we’ve got a great idea.”
The name of the game will be revealed later this week, with Mojang showing off the title on the PlayStation blog.
The game’s release date is unknown, but it’s expected to launch sometime in 2019.
The developer said that Runescapes development team has been working on new ideas for the game for some time, but “we are now ready to start to develop a new IP that will bring our community a new experience.”
Mojang confirmed that it is working on the project, but said that it has not yet started working on a title yet.
“We are working on this IP for a new era in the Runescape world.
The name of this IP will be announced shortly, and will be completely new, and brand new.
The IP is still under development, but we hope to share some more information on this new IP soon,” Mojadg said.
